Howzit! 👋

My name is Robin and I created this page when I was running competitively. It has evolved ever since. You find here a bit about myself and about my running adventures from the past. Below is a short intro.

Currently, I’m the Head of Client Delivery at Kraken Technologies (part of Octopus Energy). Kraken acquired the company I’ve founded - Kwest - in early 2024. We’ve joined forces because we share the same mission: develop technology to speed up the energy transition.

Earlier in my career, I’ve worked with the amazing team at P9 Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm primarily focused on software and marketplaces. With P9 Capital, I’ve invested and worked with the following companies: Loom (US, exited to Atlassian for nearly $1bn ), Laserhub, Metalshub, Mavenoid, Container xChange, Preply, Tradelink, and Workerbase.

I love building things from the ground up and help early-stage founders where I can - mostly with time, occasionally with money. I’m also an LP in various venture funds.

I'm particularly interested in companies that rethink (traditional) industries by using technology and fully buy into USV’s thesis: investing at the edge. I’m passionate about building communities and occasionally share my thoughts:

🏃‍♂️ about my running adventures on this Blog.
🦄 about startups and entrepreneurship on Medium.
🏭 about The Future of Manufacturing in my Newsletter.
📝 on Twitter and on LinkedIn.

I’ve studied Industrial Engineering in Karlsruhe (Germany), Lund (Sweden), and Cape Town (South Africa). In my free time I like to go running and spend time in the mountains. I competed in different obstacle races and ultra trail runs for the Getting Tough Team.

I'm always very happy to meet people who share similar passion for these topics. Please feel free to get in touch with me.
